Open Sign
This type feels modern with a slight twist of 1920's art nouveau. The gap in the O and especially the diagonal line across the bowl of the P slightly resemble the handwriting of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The sharpness of the N makes it feel altogether more modern though and certainly less decretive than Mackintosh's type. If not for there decorative additions this font would be rather suitable for body text, certainly on screen anyway, however, due to these flourishes it seems more suited as a sign (though honestly, the lack of weight in the lines doesn't make it feel very suitable for a sign- it may possible be a lot more powerful when the light behind it is on).
