Book Type
Simon Lewandowski's book caught my eye because of the retro looking type. It looks as though produced on a 1960's label maker so as for as the origin category I think this little font is in a league of it's own. It's square shape make it feel very manufactured as if not touched by human hands and the sharp corners only further this feeling. It's thin stems make it appear rather frail, I'd almost be worried it'd fall off of the page if it weren't securely fixed to a strong black background. The kerning and the leading is all a jumble in this type and it seems to strengthen the types retro quality and grounds it firmly with a 60's feel.
