OUGD404: Type Journal

The type used for the Ludlow kitchen was chosen because it looks classy. It’s long tall stems; subtle tapering and serifs (particularly the styled ones on the ends of each ascender) all give it a grand and pleasant character. It appears to be Roman in origin with the gentle curves of the serifs matching the tool marks used when chisels break into stone.
