This san serif type,
despite showing all the characteristics of transitional type is more humanist
than anything. Looking at the strokes themselves and the slight irregularities
you can tell that this type was hand rendered and made to look as such. It
works well in the context of the comic it was produced for and has a fun and
childish character.
