OUGD404: Type Journal

This chunky font came from an Oasis bottle, it's san serif and from the gothic category. The bold stems with rounded edges gives a bold strong impact on the eye without being to harsh to look at, the rounded edges also link to liquid and water representing what's inside the bottle. This is strengthened by the 'wobble' in the O glyph, mirroring the shimmering effect of water/liquid. Although it feels solid, this typeface also has a distinctive 'flow' to it thanks to those rounded edges and the slightly outline around each letter gives the type a three dimensional quality making it look like it's jutting out of the bottle.
