The type used for the Halo series is a silicone font that looks incredibly sic-fi and futuristic. Despite the stumpy and uneven stem lengths and the occasional piece missing from a letter (like the little chunk missing off of the A) it still feels rather authoritative and mysterious, similar to the SHADA type, this type feels as though it's been pulled straight out of a science fiction machine. The strangest thing about the type is how the O- the end letter has the strongest character, it's mirrored in the shape behind the text and thus strengthens the feel of it. The little dot in the middle of the O's counter bring it even more to the eye's attention.
