The type used for the series LOST initially looks like a block font (thick even stems, simple shapes) that's gone through hell and back. It looks distorted and damaged and broken symbolising the series's themes of cast away and ship wrecked. I feel this type comes across as foreboding and mysterious and aged, it's been on the box for a long time, lost and found again.
