OUGD404: Type Journal

Book Cover Type

This wonderfully thin, san serif type is minimal yet beautiful. It's subtle details such as the change in stroke weight at the bottom of the bowl on the lowercase 'a', it's slightly thinner crossbar of the 't' and the rounded ends of all of it's strokes, stems ant ascenders appeal to me. The characteristics that appear to me immediately describe a fun, adorable font. Yes, believe it or not, those lowercase glyphs actually look 'cute' to me. Used in this context it feels like a font was needed to connote seriousness, and intelligence and yet soften the harsh reality of the question, almost as if it were being asked or presented by a teacher, (high authority, soft tone) it almost feels as if the text already knows the answer, it just wants to guide you there.
